El Km 0 de la Vía verde se encuentra en Benicasim, hay que ir por el extremo oriental del casco urbano de Benicasim y la playa Voramar, por la calle Termalismo I.

Te traslada al apogeo del turismo señorial de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX, momento en el que un selecto grupo de familias castellonenses y valencianas construyeron en esta bahía lo que se conoce como el “Biarritz valenciano”, un conjunto de villas de gran diversidad y riqueza arquitectónicas. Dividida en dos itinerarios, según la corriente artística predominante en el momento de construcción y el carácter de los residentes originarios. Por un lado, la ruta del “Infierno” debe su nombre a las escandalosas fiestas que se celebraban en las villas de esa zona, mientras que la ruta de la “Corte Celestial” se distingue por la tranquilidad de sus calles. Ambas zonas quedan separadas por los jardines de Comín, conocidos popularmente como “el Limbo”. 51 villas catalogadas, de las cuales 19 están señalizadas. La Torre Sant Vicent, constituía una de las dieciocho torres vigía con que contaba lo que es hoy la provincia de Castellón, a lo largo de la costa, y que tenían como misión la vigilancia y defensa de sus costas de los ataques de corsarios. Data del siglo XVI y está rodeada de un bonito jardín, situado junto al mar con una amplia zona de ocio. Divisa el Monasterio de los Carmelitanos, en el siglo XVII los carmelitas llegaron a los montes del Desierto de las Palmas donde construyeron un monasterio, entre ellos Fray Antonio de Jesús María fue destacado estudioso y conocedor de las hierbas aromáticas. Al convertirse en Casa Noviciado hubo que atender las necesidades de los novicios, sus estudios y formación y por este motivo pensaron en comercializar una bebida aromática, extraída de la infinidad de hierbas autóctonas de los montes del Desierto de las Palmas. En los sótanos del Monasterio se instalaron unos alambiques y se comercializaron las primeras botellas de Licor Carmelitano. Dada la mala comunicación, se pensó en trasladar las destilerías a la villa de Benicàssim y en el año 1912 se fundaron las actuales bodegas y destilerías en las que, además de elaborarse el exquisito Licor, se ha ampliado la gama de productos, conjugando antiguas directrices y recetas artesanas con las técnicas actuales más modernas. Recientemente la línea de destilados de Carmelitano, tiene el sello de Castellón Ruta de Sabor, iniciativa que promueve los mejores productos de la provincia.   Fiestas Populares Y si el patrimonio histórico tangible es importante, no lo son menos las fiestas populares.
